Rietfontein farm is a 1600 ha fenced property situated in the district of Alldays, and bordering the beautiful Magalakwena River which forms a 5km border on the south side of the farm. Only a small portion of the farm is used for agricultural purposes, and the rest is unscarred natural bushveld.
The Madiapala mountain (Blood of the Impala) divide the farm roughly in 2 sections of 800 ha. each.
The river and the mountain provide a very diverse habitat for animals, plant and bird life, and visitors will return time and again.
There are 2 homesteads on the farm, of which the first is 3.2km and the other 4.3km from the main entrance. The hunting lodge is about 1.2km from the closest homestead, right next to the river. At the hunting house there is target shooting range, for the purpose of shooting in rifles.
Whether you want to hunt, fish or just enjoy bird-watching, you will enjoy the stay at Rietfontein, and return home with relaxed and revitalised soul.
Accommodation at the hunting lodge is provided in a purpose build hunting house, right on the river bank.
