Situated a mere 5 km outside of Modimolle (Nylstroom), the Avuxeni Resort & Conference Centre lies within the heart of the Waterberg Area and a gateway to the Bushveld Tourism Region. The resort comprises of 150 ha of natural bushveld and is the ideal setting for your holidays, weekend breakaways, conference, functions, family reunions and school reunions.
The resort offers a variety of facilities, including great accommodation (Chalets and Camping), sparkling pools, large jacussi (30 people), a brilliant restaurant & pub and much more. The conference centre are ideal for small to large groups.
There can never be a dull moment with the wide variety of activities close by including Fishing, Skydiving, Game Drives, 4x4 Routes, Casino’s and much more. There is also Tennis, Putt-Putt, Volley ball, a Jungle Gym for the kids and a pleasant walking trail.
A paintball course and Quad Bike Trail is under development as well as a short 4x4 route on our premises.

The accommodation of Avuxeni Resort & Conference Centre comprises of a choice of three-being Bed & Breakfast, Self-catering Chalets and Camping.
The Bed & Breakfast offer 1 or 2 sleeper room with en-suite bathroom, colour television and bar fridge. This accommodation includes a breakfast in the morning and the Blacksmith Restaurant ( a’La Carte Restaurant) is available for other meals.
The self-catering units offers 2, 4 , 6 and 8 sleeper chalets. These chalets each have its own kitchenette, living/dining area, colour television, en-suite bathroom in main bedrooms and private braai area. All the chalets are within walking distance from the resort facilities.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with all utensils, cutlery, crockery, microwave, etc.
The bathrooms is equipped with towels and bath mats. Toilet paper is supplied.

For functions you can either use our catering service or you you can do your own catering. We will assist you in the preparation and decoration of the venue to make your work and worries minimal
Our conference centre includes the following; Overhead fans, Flip Chart, Colour Television, Whiteboard, Overhead Projector, Data projector, Video Recorder, Portable screen, Photostat machine, Fax facility.

Soutpansberg Room :
This is for smaller groups and offers you the intimacy and warmth your conference requires. Seating up to 35 delegates (depending on seating plan), this carpeted hall has its own vibe. The Bushveld Tourism Region is the theme of this venue and you might feel like been in the bush with lots of animals surrounding you.
Capricorn Room :
This carpeted room seats 35 to 45 people (depending on the seating plan). The Capricorn Tourism Region is the theme for this room and you will feel if you are visiting this area while you are here.
Bushveld Room :
This tiled room seats 60 to 120 people (depending on the seating plan). This room has overhead fans and a stage. The Soutpansberg Tourism Area is the theme of this room and you will enjoy the abience and feel of this room.
Valley of the Elephants :
This carpeted room with a small stage is for the larger groups hosting big day conferences and big functions and can sit up to 400 people (depending on the seating plan). The Valley of the Elephants Tourism Region is the theme for this room and can be easily transform into any theme you like for your specific conference or function.
Blacksmith Restaurant & Saloon :
The resort boasts a variety of facilities for young and old. The Blacksmith Restaurant seats 50 people and serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on a’La Carte with various Buffets on every Sunday including a Breakfast and Lunch Buffet. Outdoor shaded seating in the garden also available. Bookings before recommended but if you drive this way do not hesitate to stop we will get a table for you! Bikers welcome for both buffets. Live entertainment every Sunday.
Enjoy the Blacksmith Bumper steak or the Thaba Kwena Delight.
The Blacksmith Saloon is situated next to the restaurant and offers bar area, play area (pool & darts), dance floor, veranda seating and Big Screen TV’s for sport events. Pub lunches are offered daily and our beer is always cold. Bikers are welcome so do not hesitate to stop here after your early morning drive.
Our pub lunches is very popular especially the Thaba Kwena Pie & Gravy and Burger with Chips.
Every Wednesday and Saturday is Braai evenings where you can bring your own meat (or you can buy a braai packet), and we supply Pap, Sous, Salads and the fire.
For staying guest there are two sparkling pools surrounded by mini thatched lapas and one big thatched Lapa for braai functions and a neat ablution block. Our brilliant hot Jacussi (30 people) is also ideal for those who wish to relax more specially in the winter.
