Rooms

Most of the semi self catering rooms and non self catering rooms have a spectacular view of the Orange River, the rest are in close proximity to the River.

Each room is equipped with a fridge, kettle and ceiling fan. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied.

Tents

For more rustic and economical accommodation we also offer accommodation in our African Safari Tents.

Pets

River Destiny Lodge is pet friendly and the ideal sleep over for animal lovers. (As only some of the rooms are pet friendly please specify in advance.)

Caravan/Camping sites

Bring your tent or caravan and discover the serenity of the Orange River while camping with the convenience of electricity outlets and spotlessly clean ablution facilities.  

Restaurant

We have a private restaurant on the premises. The lodge serves light lunch during the day and has an a-la-carte menu in the evening.  Braai facilities available are also available.

Some of the main attractions at River Destiny Lodge are the refreshing swimming pool, fishing, wooden decks, game viewing, quad bikes and paintball. Children love the jungle gym too.

Fly Fishing

Lazing away days on the river you’ll find River Destiny Lodge truly memorable. A few casts on the Orange River and you’ll soon discover River Destiny a fishing paradise – yellow fish, large mouth yellow fish, carp and barbell will test your skills in the river current.

Quad Bikes

For the more energetic – experience the excitement of close-up game viewing with a 5km or 11km quad bike drive in the refreshing karoo air. All this adds to the relaxation, fun and family enjoyment of your holiday.
