Come hang with us at the foot of the Boschberg Mountain and experience a sensory overload of: biltong, stall browsing, music for all ages, hanging with friends, and drinking some Castle (for over 18’s only).
You will be able to not only taste biltong, but experience the Karoo lifestyle, lively South African entertainment and true hospitality, while roaming the Somerset East Showgrounds, at the Castle Lager East Cape Biltong Festival.
Now in its 22nd year, the Biltong Festival promises, yet again, to be ‘lip-smackingly’ good with traditional South African fare, biltong, hundreds of interesting stalls for the shopping enthusiasts, and 20 of South Africa’s most popular entertainers.
At this year’s festival one can also take part in town activities such as the Gastronomical tour and the Heritage and Architectural tours of Somerset East.
