Package tours are a firm favourite for groups of visitors intent on a whirlwind excursion of the area. An affordable, even cheap, alternative, offering great tour deals, as group bookings are made well in advance.

Self drive tours are designed for clients who prefer to wind their way around without too many constraints and certainly with a lot more privacy. The tour operator or agent will have pre-booked everything from the accommodation to the rental car. All you have to do is follow the itinerary and GPS.

Guided tours are a little bit of both. You won’t have the serenity and privacy of a self drive option but you certainly won’t have to deal with a busload of fellow travellers. An accredited guide will do all the driving, talking, guiding and troubleshooting on your behalf.
